North Yorkshire Scouts are the Scouting County, who govern all groups within the York Ebor
District, along with 13 other Scouting districts in the county.
NYS work incredibly hard to ensure that all children within the county are receiving the very highest quality of Scouting. The current County Commissioner is Mark Edwards.
The county run many large-scale camps, bringing together many Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from different cities, all with the joint love of Scouting. They recently ran an online St George's Day celebration event, which replaced the traditional St George's Day processions and was viewed by over 10,000 people across the county.
